What Youll Do
As a Supervisor I youll be the go-to leader on the warehouse floor ensuring smooth operations and a safe productive environment. Your day-to-day will include:
- Lead & Coach: Teach mentor and guide team members to achieve production and distribution goals.
- Plan & Prioritize: Assign work set priorities and keep operations on track.
- Safety First: Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and proper equipment use.
- Performance Management: Conduct reviews provide feedback and handle disciplinary actions when needed.
- Problem Solve: Use tools like 5 Why and Kaizen to resolve issues quickly.
- Communicate: Maintain professional timely communication with internal teams and external partners.
- Administrative Duties: Keep accurate records complete incident reports and support compliance.
- Hands-On Leadership: Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
What Were Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math reading and computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Experience with forklifts packing and measuring.
- Leadership abilityeven from non-business or volunteer roles.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree.
- 23 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of metals ISO standards lean practices and safety programs.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
