Job Summary
Job Description
Duties Description includes but not limited to:Member of the interdisciplinary team and provide MNT which may include consulting with Physicians on Nutrition support requests.
Coordinate medical records for clinical nutrition. Ensure medical records reflect nutritional status of the individuals and meets the OMH regulations. Maintain annual completion of assessments.
Complete individual nutrition notes as established through risk priority of each individual. Attend Treatment Team meetings and discharge meetings. Complete annual assessments and progress notes. Process diet changes. Maintain monthly diet list and computer records.
Make recommendations to the treatment team for the maintenance and/or improvement of nutritional status. Recommend changes to diet regimen to address nutritional concerns.
When assigned conduct Nutrition groups to clients.
Ensure the OMH regulations are adhered to and for overall nutritional health and safety of the individuals.
Proficient in computer use.
Perform diet office duties in the absence of the Diet Technician.
Other duties as assigned.
Hours:
Full time
Shift - 9:00 to 5:30 PM
