Job Summary:
The Dietitian provides nutritional care to patients in an acute care hospital setting with an average daily census of 165. This role involves adult outpatient/clinic work experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition and performing nutrition assessments.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional care to adult outpatients in a clinic setting.
- Manage patients requiring enteral nutrition (tube feedings).
- Manage patients requiring total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
- Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments.
- Address protein calorie malnutrition.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- RD/RDN certification required.
- IL state license required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Experience with Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings).
- Experience with Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
- Experience with Nutrition Assessments/Reassessments.
- Experience with Protein Calorie Malnutrition.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Adult Outpatient/Clinic experience.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- Clinician will not float outside of scope.
- Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO).
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without pay.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 Days (0730-1600).
- Schedule is Monday through Friday.
