THE ROLE

Pure Storage is looking for a highly experienced and strategic individual to join our team as the Director Distribution APJ. This pivotal role requires someone with a deep understanding of the Tech industry particularly within the data center space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing global distribution networks particularly within SaaS Cybersecurity or AdTech sectors.

• Pure Storage is looking for an APJ Distribution leader to develop and execute a comprehensive regional distribution strategy aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
• Leverage extensive experience in the data center space to guide distribution strategies specific to our industry.
• Stay abreast of industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
• Bring a wealth of experience in managing regional distribution networks having held key roles with a focus in various markets.
• Ensure that distribution models are optimized for each location taking into account local nuances and challenges.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors regionally ensuring collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Work closely with distributors to address challenges optimize performance and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Marketing and Product Development to align distribution strategies with broader business objectives.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in a senior leadership role within regional distribution ideally in the data center SaaS Cybersecurity or AdTech sectors.
• Proven experience managing distribution networks on APJ scale..
• In-depth understanding of the data center industry with a track record of adapting distribution strategies to industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills capable of developing and executing innovative global distribution strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and manage high-performance teams effectively.
