Job description
The Multimedia Technologies unit is formed by the Image and Audio research groups as well as the Interactive Visualization development group.
The Image group has expertise in applied research and development of computer vision technologies including video processing multi-view and 3D particular we have extensive experience of more than 10 years in applied artificial intelligence systems such as object detection and semantic segmentation for autonomous driving monoscopic 360 depth estimation in audiovisual post-production cross-modal generative models including video or satellite imaging enhancement. It has participated in several international projects (Autopost 3Flex Möbius) national (Framework Look4You AI4ES) regional (ViVIM Mironins) as well as in several projects for private clients.
Eurecat wishes to incorporate into its Area of MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY located in Barcelona a:
COMPUTER VISION / AI JUNIOR RESEARCHER
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Preparation of technical proposals.
- Problem design and solving state-of-the-art analysis.
- Experimentation and validation of methodologies.
- Writing technical reports and scientific papers.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND STUDIES:
Candidates should have a degree on computer science or related field in particular machine learning and ideally computer vision.
- If the candidate has completed a Masters degree related to the field the Masters thesis is expected to be focused on Computer Vision.
EXPERIENCE (Nice to have):
- Academic or professional experience in research or applied projects related with computer vision.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch TFlow..)
- Advanced skills in Python clean writing clean code maintenance.
- Other programming languages such as C or frameworks such as OpenCV will be valuated positively.
- Linux companion and Git should be in your daily toolbox.
- Proved background in developing tools in the Media Culture and Arts sector is also valuable.
