Job Summary
Were currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team for a site-based project in the Midlands.
This is a short-term contract offering consistent work and a highly competitive pay structure.
The Role
The primary focus of this project is the installation of electrical containment systemsand associated works. This is a fully site-based rolewhere you will be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure is installed to precise specifications within a live project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Containment Installation:Expertly installing cable tray ladder rack trunking and conduit (both plastic and galvanized) to house substation cabling.
- Technical Compliance:Working accurately from technical drawings to ensure all containment routes meet project designs.
- Safety & Quality:Maintaining high safety standards and ensuring all installations are neat secure and compliant with site health and safety regulations.
Project Details & Pay
- Duration:Circa 4 weeks.
- Location:Site-based (Midlands).
- Standard Rate:24.00 per hour (First 38 hours).
- Overtime Rate:36.00 per hour (x1.5 after 38 hours).
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical installation.
- Strong background in heavy-duty containment and metalwork.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 18th Edition).
- Valid ECS/JIB cardis essential for site access.
