From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies robotics and additive manufacturing GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).
GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
Perform disassembly and assembly of modules in accordance with Companys documentation and manufacturers manuals.
Ensure proper use maintenance and care of tools and equipment in the work area.
Perform work as assigned and in the manner as specified ensuring that all quality and safety requirements and practices are met.
Ensure work area is clean and that all support equipment is positioned or returned to their appropriate place of storage
Carry out day to day preventive or predictive maintenance activity tools and equipment at the respective work area.
Liaise with facilities Team for Repairs and Preventive Maintenance activity on facilities & equipment.
Assist other technicians in other maintenance activities- Generate simple work instructions for equipment / facility.
Propose improvement to on day-to-day activities and process improvements.
The Ideal Candidate:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum GCE O level with 2 years of relevant working experience in aviation/aerospace related field.; or
Diploma holders in Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace Engineering/related field; or
Able to read and understand standard operation procedures in English
