Description of Work
The Office of Governor Josh Stein is seeking a Press Secretary to help communicate the Governors priorities of building a safer stronger North Carolina. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player passionate about strategic communication across markets across the state. The position is located in Raleigh and will require travel across the state.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
3-4 years of experience in government campaigns or issue-based advocacy
A car and a valid drivers license
Willingness to work irregular hours as needed
Experience collaborating and being proactive
Experience working with reporters preferably in North Carolina
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Salary up to $80000
