About the Role
We are currentlylooking foraFallMarketing Interntofill a vacancy in ourMarketing Team.Reporting to our Tour & Event Specialist you willbring an interest inmarketing event planning and creating memorable experiences. You willhelp plan and bring to life company tours visits and exciting events thatshowcaseour genetics facilities people andtheSemexbrandlearning how events come together from start to finish.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in coordinating international guest visits to Canada including headquarters tours and hosted delegations.
- Assist with travel arrangements schedules accommodations and on-site coordination.
- Support corporate events and conferences.
- Work with vendors internal teams and senior leaders to make events run smoothly.
- Contribute to creating timelines run-of-show plans and post-event follow-ups.
WhatYoullLearn:
- Real-world experience in marketing event planning and guest experience management.
- How to manage multiple projects and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and collaboration skills while working with teams across the company.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Marketing Communications or related post-secondary program.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic eager to learn and ready to jump in and helpwhenneeded.
Work Location Hours& Pay Rate:
This role is a fulltime contract position from August through November 2026. This position is a 35-hour work weekMonday through Fridayandrequires5 days per week in ourGuelphlocationwith a starting wage of $25.00 per hour.
