PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule patients focusing on patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical health errors

• Participate in process improvement projects

• Audit online tickets scheduling appointments for accuracy of order placement referral completion and resource selection

• Act as a subject expert for the department scheduling model think critically and troubleshoot Epic errors for the team

• Function proficiently within the team to assist with training of new staff and act as go team resource

• Support team Lead in day-to-day operational goals

• Respond to patients need and concerns as appropriate maintaining Patient First mentality

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduation or equivalent

• Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience

• OR

• equivalent combination of education/experience
