As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting our mission of providing high-quality medical care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and interpret radiologic examinations and imaging studies
- Provide accurate and timely diagnoses to assist in patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in radiology
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in radiologic technology
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Document findings and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Radiology
- Active medical license in the state of California
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities (CT MRI Ultrasound)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-5p
No call shifts required
Daily Volume: 56 cases
Cases: All modalities including interventional procedures; tomosynthesis ultrasounds MRIs image-guided biopsies pre-op localizations etc.
EMR: Epic
PACS: Synapse
Reporting: PowerScribe
Mammography Viewer: Hologic
MRI Software: CADStream
Must be board-certified
