The faculty member in this position will be expected to teach a range of courses including but not limited to: Principles of Marketing Principles of Selling Sales Management Business to Business Marketing Business Negotiations Introduction to Business Computer Concepts and other Management and Marketing courses as neededAdditionalresponsibilities includeacademicadvising student club advising involvement in department projects assessment data collection and activitiesrepresentingthe department at campus-wide recruiting events and participation in campus also include contribution to student growth and development participation in department and institutional activities evaluation of student performance engagement in scholarly activities and participation in service to the University and in its commitment to meeting the service needs of the region expects faculty to engage in regional service education or study as part of their community service responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. or DBA in Management or related field (consideration for candidates completing degree within one semester).
Teaching experience in Managementand Marketingat the undergraduate level.
Demonstratedteaching excellence (student evaluations).
Professional work experience inMarketingor Management.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn online and web-supported delivery.
Writtenand oral communication skills.
Demonstratedability to work collaboratively with faculty staff students and community partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in Management orMarketing at the graduate level
Evidence of current scholarly or professional activity.
Demonstratedteaching effectiveness in online orHyFlexenvironments.
Demonstratedpositive student impacts outside the classroom.
Understanding and appreciation of liberal education and a global perspective.
Demonstratedability to teach and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
This is a fixed term position that will end following the final duty day of spring semester 2027. There is no guaranteed renewal beyond one year.
