As a Shift Process Engineer/Technician with the Yield Technology group at Micron you will focus on operation and minor maintenance of a diverse set of equipment across Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA) or Metrology applications.

Responsibilities:

Complete certifications and learning events. This will contribute to developing and helping in the department while also learning about other aspects of Micron

Provide support for Fab 4 Process Development Engineering and Process Integration teams

Providedevelopment for theequipment team workingalongsidein recipe creation

Provide SEM support for FAB 4 PFA technicians support the FAB 4 incoming SEM requests from thefab. The level of support needed will depend on the SEM queue on any given day.

Provide PFA support for FAB 4 YE part types (DRAM and EM)

Communicate with part type engineersregardingrequests priorities and/or general communicationsregardingthe queue etc.

Communicate with Micron team members and supplier representatives at all levelsregardingtool issues requests support items etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

MS or BS and 1 - 2 years of equivalent process engineering experience Required majors include Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Materials Science Chemical Engineering Chemistry or Physics.
Good understanding of FAB process steps: wet etch dry etch PVD ALD CMP etc.

Ability to analyze problems and provide resolution

PC skillsto includeM.S. Office (PowerPoint Word Excel OneNote)and a good understanding of Micron AI tools.

Available to work any shift and work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize and work independently

Strong communicationskills (written verbal and presentation)
Experience in semiconductor Metrology or RDA is preferred but not
A growth mindset and a passion for learning
