As a Full Time Design Engineer at VAL-CO Industries you will be at the forefront of innovation tasked with designing new and improved products or modifying existing mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions. You will utilize advanced computer-aided engineering tools such as CAE CAD and FEA to enhance productivity quality and efficiency throughout the product design and analysis process.
You will provide critical information including material and process specifications essential for manufacturing or purchasing parts. Guiding Designers and Drafters you will ensure Development Projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Additionally you will assist in the design and fabrication of prototypes to either validate new products or meet specific customer needs. Documenting design requirements meticulously on production drawings is vital as youll incorporate all necessary information to guarantee precision and accuracy in product production. Would you be a great Design Engineer
To thrive as a Full Time Design Engineer at VAL-CO Industries candidates must possess a BS or technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience demonstrating a solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is essential for effective product design coupled with strong computer skills in MS Office. Excellent organizational abilities are crucial to manage multiple projects efficiently. Communication and collaboration skills are equally important as youll work closely with diverse teams sharing ideas and feedback.
Additionally the ability to interpret various forms of instructions-be they written oral diagrams blueprints or sketches-will empower you to execute designs accurately. A willingness to travel occasionally will also be beneficial facilitating collaboration with other teams and stakeholders as you bring innovative agricultural solutions to life.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
BS or technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Possess solid engineering knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems
Possess computer proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD or Solidworks
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram blueprint and/or sketch form
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
