Job Summary
Reporting into the Security Supervisor the incumbent will be responsible for providing security on the work site.
What youll be responsible for:
- Controlling the entrances and exits (visitors employees customers)
- Locking and unlocking doors
- Patrolling on foot or by vehicle buildings and yard
- Protecting evidence in the event of a crime
- Protecting the scene of an incident
- Responding to fires medical emergencies bomb threats floods water leaks hazardous materials
- Writing reports and logs
- Preventing Crime
- Carrying out searches when in doubt
- Performing all other related tasks
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You are available to work varied shifts day/evening/night and possible weekends
- You have a high school diploma
- You have a valid security guard license issued by the Private Security Bureau
- You have a valid first aid certification
- You have a valid drivers licence class 5
- You are bilingual French and English
- You have a clean criminal record
- You have the ability to cope with stressful situations in a calm and rational manner
- You have excellent judgment observation and communication skills
