Were looking for a strategic and creative Senior Marketing Specialist to drive marketing efforts across Oliver & Bonacinis Events & Catering portfolio. From social media and website updates to campaign execution and content production this role is ideal for a results-oriented marketer who thrives on ownership storytelling and thoughtful execution.
As the dedicated marketing lead for the Events & Catering division youll manage all communications promotions and content across key channels while collaborating with the broader marketing team to align initiatives with company-wide goals. This full-time position is based in our downtown Toronto office with occasional visits to venues and restaurants.
Marketing & Social Media
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns for Events & Catering including seasonal promotions new venue launches venue spotlights seasonal menu launches etc.
- Maintain an annual marketing calendar that aligns with business goals and sales team priorities
- Manage social media accounts (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn) for Events & Catering planning writing scheduling and reporting on content
- Update and maintain venue web pages and promotional content across O&Bs websites
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure Events & Catering campaigns are integrated across all touchpoints
- Maintain and update internal websites and external online listings (e.g. Eventsource Unique Venues) with accurate information and new venue listings
- Content Creation & Direction
- Work closely with Event Specialists and the Event Sales team to identify high-impact content-worthy events
- Coordinate coverage by arranging for in-house or freelance photographers hourly content creators or capturing content on-site when appropriate
- Lead the planning and execution of photo and video shoots including developing briefs and managing shot lists
- Ensure a steady pipeline of visual and written content to support campaign and evergreen marketing needs
- Maintain and organize a comprehensive library of current event venue and catering assets
- Write and edit engaging content for social media websites digital listings and blog posts
Project Coordination
- In collaboration with the Marketing team oversee production and distribution of promotional materials including but not limited to menu packages event/trade show collateral signage and printed collateral
- Coordinate site visits installations deliveries and execution of promotional projects with relevant parties
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all digital listings and venue materials are accurate and up to date
- Maintain updated list of all vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate and facilitate all printing logistics including determining order details/ specifications and collecting cost competitive quotes
- Support facilitation and organization of digital assets for the events team including but not limited to business cards.
- Track marketing expenses and assist with budget reconciliation and invoice processing
Market Research and Reporting
- Conduct consumer and competitor market research
- Complete post-campaign reports and distribute data as appropriate
- Keep up to date with emerging event trends and bring forward new sales and marketing ideas
Qualifications :
- 57 years of experience in marketing communications or digital contentideally in hospitality events or lifestyle sectors
- Proven ability to lead marketing campaigns across digital print and social channels
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for brand tone and voice
- Experience managing social media channels and publishing website content
- Skilled at planning content coverage and working with photographers or content creators Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing timelines across multiple projects
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms; basic design or photo editing skills are a plus
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Degree or diploma in Marketing Communications or a related field preferred
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to work from our Toronto office ( Queen/ Bay St)
