Design build and maintain highly available distributed cloud platform services using Kubernetes and AWS as the backbone.
Develop microservices automation tools and infrastructure-as-code to support the full lifecycle of Guidewires SaaS applications.
Engineer for quality scalability security and operational excellence embedding automated testing and observability into everything you deliver.
Collaborate daily with engineers product managers and architects through pair programming and agile ceremonies to deliver impactful solutions.
Drive adoption of best practices in REST/gRPC APIs service discovery and cloud-native architectures.
Champion cost optimization security and compliance in multi-tenant environments supporting Guidewires mission to deliver measurable value and efficiency for customers.
Mentor peers share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and responsible AI use.

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation productivity and continuous improvement.
Minimum 10 years of relevant software engineering experience with a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS Kubernetes Docker).
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java Golang or equivalent).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture REST/gRPC APIs service discovery and API gateways.
Strong Linux debugging skills and experience with container technologies.
Commitment to proven software design principles (e.g. SOLID Hexagonal) and automated testing.
Excellent collaboration communication and mentoring skills; a team-first mindset.
Experience with distributed tracing monitoring and observability in cloud environments.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) serverless architectures and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with cost optimization security and compliance in cloud environments.
Experience working in agile fast-paced and highly collaborative teams.
