The Financial Advisory function plays a critical role in transaction-related decision-making valuation and financial analysis. This role contributes directly to high-impact advisory outcomes across Vietnam and the wider APAC region.

Role Purpose & Success Outcomes

Purpose:
Deliver high-quality financial advisory analyses and client deliverables across transactions valuations and financial modelling supporting informed decision-making for clients and internal stakeholders.

Success outcomes:

• Advisory analyses meet agreed quality accuracy and compliance benchmarks
• Client meetings and interactions are handled professionally in English and/or Vietnamese
• Reports align with global methodologies templates and service-line standards
• Effective collaboration occurs across local and cross-border advisory teams

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial advisory engagements including transaction advisory due diligence business valuation and financial forecasting/modelling
• Participate in meetings with clients prospects target entities and external advisors in English and/or Vietnamese
• Prepare draft reports in line with global service-line guidelines and standardized templates
• Support delivery of projects involving both off-site analytical work and on-site client visits in Vietnam and where required overseas

• Collaborate with regional advisory teams on cross-border engagements

• Support Managers in training reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members
• Maintain strict confidentiality data integrity and professional ethics across all assignments

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Auditing or a closely related field (required)
• Professional qualifications such as CFA ACCA CPA Australia or equivalent (nice to have)

Professional Experience

• 1 year of experience in financial advisory valuation financial audit or a corporate finance role (required)
• Exposure to transaction-related assignments financial modelling or valuation work (required)

• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff (nice to have)

Technical Skills

• Strong financial analysis and modelling capability (required)

• High proficiency in Excel and standard office productivity tools (required)

• Familiarity with advisory report structures and standardized templates (required)

Knowledge Domain

• Financial due diligence and transaction advisory

• Business valuation methodologies

• Financial forecasting and modelling

• Professional ethics confidentiality and compliance standards
