They assist international companies in navigating regulatory requirements and managing ongoing business operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Their Business Intelligence team provides market research partner identification site selection support and investment feasibility analysis. The team supports clients during early-stage market exploration and expansion delivering data-driven insights and on-the-ground coordination to inform strategic decisions.

This role strengthens the companys Vietnam delivery capacity and contributes directly to regional cross-border projects.

Role Purpose & Success Outcomes

Purpose:
To deliver high-quality market research and business intelligence projects in Vietnam that enable foreign investors to make informed market entry and expansion decisions.

Success Outcomes:

• Research deliverables meet agreed client benchmarks for accuracy structure and insight.
• Project workstreams are executed reliably meeting internal timelines and coordination standards.
• Client engagements are handled professionally supporting trust and repeat engagement.
• Internal databases and intelligence resources remain accurate updated and usable for future projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver market research and business matching projects focused on Vietnam.
• Contribute to cross-country business intelligence projects in coordination with regional teams.
• Prepare service proposals and contracts; follow up with prospective and existing clients to conclude agreements.
• Accompany clients on visits to potential partners industrial parks and relevant sites.
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial zones research agencies embassies consulates and trade promotion bodies.
• Monitor business economic and regulatory developments in Vietnam and ASEAN.
• Develop maintain and update internal BI databases and datasets.
• Support marketing activities and business development coordination as required.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Economics Business International Trade or related disciplines (Required).
• Educational experience abroad (Nice-to-have).

Professional Experience

Associate Level:

• 13 years of relevant full-time experience in research consulting business intelligence trade promotion or an internationally operating company (Required).
• Exposure to data analysis report writing and structured client interaction (Required).

Senior Associate Level:

• 36 years of relevant experience with evidence of independent project delivery and direct client exposure (Required).
• Experience managing workstreams contributing to proposals coordinating cross-border teams and mentoring junior staff (Strongly preferred).
• Experience leading research projects or handling stakeholder engagement (Preferred).

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint (Required).
• Ability to analyze statistical data and extract insights from platforms such as TradeMap World Bank and IMF portals (Required).
• Familiarity with international trade law particularly free trade agreements (Preferred).
• Knowledge of Vietnamese legal and tax systems (Nice-to-have).

Knowledge Domain

• Vietnams business and investment environment (Required).
• Trade and investment frameworks across ASEAN (Required).
• Market research methodologies and commercial feasibility analysis (Required).
• Cross-border project coordination in professional services environments (Preferred).
