Your role at St John of God Health Care
You will be responsible for the construction maintenance and application of the St John of God Health Care Research Database and associated information technology and administrative processes that support research governance and research governance workflow.
The Position
Construct and maintain the SJGHC Research Database and associated information technology applications and forms that collect collate and distribute data that supports research governance.
Day-to-day management of the provision and availability of data that supports the workflow for research approval monitoring amendment and closure of research projects.
Provision of data and preparation of relevant reports for internal and external stakeholders regarding research performance.
Contribute to development and implementation of research and research governance data management policies and procedures.
Assessment of compliance with SJGHC data governance framework and research data management policy.
Administrative and secretariat support for research governance processes at SJGHC including within the SJGHC Research Office and the Research Steering Committee and liaison with Research Governance Committees Research Operations Managers and Human Research Ethics Committee/s.
You will have strong administrative and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail demonstrated knowledge and experience in Research Governance preferably in a health care setting along with knowledge and experience in undertaking quality improvement and/or risk management initiatives.
Additionally you will have knowledge of and experience in research governance processes ethical and statutory guidelines relating to research (e.g. National Clinical Trials Governance Framework National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research Code of Ethical Standards for Catholic Health and Aged Care Services in Australia Privacy Act 1988. Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and have the ability to construct maintain and query databases conduct data analysis prepare detailed reports and facilitate research governance workflow.
To succeed you will possess a tertiary qualification in a field relevant to research administration health informatics quality improvement or risk management or extensive relevant experience as well as a high-level computer literacy including use of database applications and word processing.

Salary $103300 to $114700 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent part-time position working 19 hours per week
Based at Perth CBD Kings Square office
40% work from home option
