St Vincents Virtual and Home (SVVH) leads national virtual and at-home care services driving meaningful change through technology human-centred design and innovation. We are the national provider of the Medicare Mental Health Check-In a free low-intensity CBT digital mental health service supporting Australians with early-intervention care.

Your New Role

We are seeking a Digital Mental Health Project Officer to support the establishment implementation and embedding of a new national digital mental health program funded by the Australian Government. Take a step towards better wellbeing Medicare Mental Health Check In

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that drives project coordination operational readiness workflow development and stakeholder engagement. This role suits someone who thrives in purpose-driven work and wants to contribute to delivering equitable access to mental health care across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Support project planning scheduling task tracking and monitoring of key milestones.

  • Assist with risk compliance and needs-analysis activities ensuring alignment with service objectives.

  • Document project deliverables learnings workflows and implementation materials.

  • Contribute to project reporting and preparation for steering groups and governance forums.

Stakeholder & Communication Support

  • Facilitate effective communication across clinical operational digital and corporate teams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support alignment and timely issue resolution.

  • Prepare clear high-quality documentation reports presentations and briefings.

Operational & Clinical Readiness

  • Support development of workflows guidelines quality and safety documentation and operational materials.

  • Assist with workforce management tasks co-design processes and lived-experience engagement activities.

  • Contribute to readiness activities supporting service launch embedding and future program expansion.

Professional Conduct & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in orientation training supervision and ongoing professional development.

  • Support a safe inclusive and respectful workplace aligned with the SVHA Code of Conduct.

  • Comply with all health safety immunisation and organisational policy requirements.

  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and innovation across digital mental health service delivery.

About You

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex cross-functional healthcare or digital health projects.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-management capability.

  • Ability to work effectively across clinical operational technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to synthesise and present information clearly.

  • Ability to manage work independently within fixed deadlines and multiple deliverables.

  • Proficiency with project management tools methods and documentation.

  • Strong organisational and time-management capability.

Desirable

  • Experience in digital health mental health or service implementation projects.

  • Understanding of implementation and evaluation frameworks.
