A leading IT consultancy is seeking an experienced Transition Project Manager to lead a high-profile client transition. This is a critical engagement requiring strong stakeholder management structured delivery and the ability to operate at pace.
The Role
You will take ownership of a complex service transition incorporating ITSM capabilities introducing additional application support services and managing adjustments to existing team structures. This is a high-visibility role requiring a confident and hands-on leader who can coordinate technical operational and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transition activities from planning through to operational handover
- Implement and embed ITSM processes and frameworks
- Integrate additional application support services into the existing operating model
- Manage organisational and team structure adjustments
- Drive governance reporting risk management and stakeholder communication
- Ensure delivery to agreed timelines budgets and quality standards
Your skills
- Proven experience delivering complex IT service transitions
- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
- Demonstrated experience working within consultancy environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to start immediately
Essential Requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Available to commence ASAP
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
