UW Medical Center Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our new Oncology unit.
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:
4A is an oncology unit serving hematology-oncology and medical-oncology patients. Common diagnoses include lymphoma sarcoma and a variety of solid-tumor cancers. This unit specializes in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration management of treatment-related side effects end-of-life care and care of cancer-related complications such as pain immunosuppression electrolyte imbalances and organ dysfunction. Specialized equipment includes chemotherapy administration supplies and a carbon-filtered chemotherapy spill PAPR. This unit is also a resource for central venous access device care and maintenance.
