Job Summary
Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook (Live-In or Live-Out) Alexandria VA
A private couple in Old Town Alexandria VA is seeking a dependable and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to assist with the daily upkeep of their 3200 sq. ft. condominium. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday (40 hours per week) with flexibility in daily scheduling. Both principals are largely independent but would appreciate occasional light assistance and support with errands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining a well-organized home and preparing simple home-style meals in a respectful and calm household environment.
Schedule: MondayFriday 40 hours per week
Typical shifts may vary between 8:00 AM5:00 PM or 10:00 AM7:00 PM depending on the day.
Compensation:$85800/yr - 90000/yr (flexible depending on experience)
Location: Old Town Alexandria VA
Living Arrangement: Live-in or live-out options available
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping for a 3200 sq. ft. condominium
- Weekly deep cleaning and daily maintenance of the home
- Laundry and linen care
- Kitchen upkeep and organization
- Prepare breakfast and lunch when requested
- Prepare dinner approximately 34 evenings per week
- Grocery shopping and household errands (pharmacy etc.)
- Occasional accompaniment to doctors appointments if needed
- Assist with light home organization projects

Requirements
