Job Summary
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Project Manager position! This is a 10 month contract opportunity and will be on-site in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Lead and direct high-priority or complex projects impacting multiple business or functional areas from initiation to close in a regulated financial services environment.
- Develop integrated project plans schedules forecasts and budgets.
- Coordinate detailed project requirements using planning sessions focus groups and other requirement-gathering techniques.
- Manage execution of the project plan control scope and changes and monitor progress using project tracking tools.
- Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders; identify variances and implement corrective actions.
- Build and motivate high-performing project teams; lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate risks; ensure projects remain aligned with goals and compliance standards.
- Maintain documentation and align with internal control and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage tools like MS Project Jira and cloud dashboards to support planning and reporting.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Technical & Domain Expertise:
- Cloud architecture fundamentals (IaaS PaaS SaaS)
- Data center operations and migration strategies
- Security compliance and risk management
- Project & Program Management:
- Multi-workstream planning and dependency management
- Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Budgeting resource allocation and KPI tracking
- Proficiency in MS Project Jira and other project management tools.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Executive-level reporting and status updates
- Vendor and cross-functional team coordination
- Conflict resolution and prioritization skills
- Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of project management experience OR A combination of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience including 4 years in project management.
Pay Range:$48-$63/hr
