There is an open position in the Georgetown Public : Assistant Cook ManagerLOCATION: Georgetown Middle High SchoolSUPERVISOR: Cook Manager & Director of OperationsANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per collective bargain DATE: immediatelyWORK YEAR: 180 days - school year no summer workJOB DESCRIPTIONUnder direction of the Cook Manager prepare and cook menu items on schedule making sure food items are properly cooked and served. Willingness to learn and implement district policies and state regulationsAdhere to production schedule to produce meals efficiently. Maintain appropriate paperwork as required by district and stateProduction records Participation Records etc.)Assist in maintenance and monitoring of inventoryOrdering of food items as necessaryAttend trainings as assignedOther responsibilities as assigned by the DirectorJOB REQUIRMENTSSanitation Course Certificate in Food ServiceChoke Safe CertificationAllergen Awareness Certification. Prior experience in school food service preferredPrior management experience preferred SALARY & BENEFITSPer agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Cafeteria position is eligible for the Towns health insurance contractual sick days & personal days.
