About The Position

Clinical Architecture is seekinga SoftwareTest Engineering to join our team in the Indianapolis IN area.TheSoftware Test Engineerwill have the primary responsibilityofvalidatingwindows basedandweb-based applications. This rolewill beresponsible foranalyzing requirements creating test casesand manualtestexecution. Additionally the Software Test Engineerwill beresponsible forcommunicatingfindingsand documenting defectsconciselywith the Software Development team.The Software Test Engineersfocus is to ensure the code iscorrectand the software functions as expectedaccording tothe business requirements.The Software Test Engineer also helps foster a culture of qualityand producesquality software with high customer satisfaction.

This role isrequiredto beon siteat our Carmel IN Headquarters. Clinical Architecture offers ample flexibility to accommodatea healthywork-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze software requirements.
  • Design document andmaintaintest cases and other applicable test artifacts.
  • Peer review planning documents.
  • Executetests on software for functionality and usability.
  • Traverse andvalidatedatabase entries using SQLqueries.
  • Detect and track defectsforre-testing to ensure a proper resolution is implemented.
  • Performexploratory ad-hocregression load and system testing.
  • Review end-user documentation providing feedbackongaps design flawsand wording issues.
  • Research and support customer reportedissues.
  • Validate software performance.
  • Participating in design reviews.
  • Supportthe Automationteamproviding test scenarios and data.
  • Communicate withtheEngineeringteamconcerning reported issues.
  • Communicate withtheProduct Managementteamconcerning requirements.
  • Provide process improvement feedback to promote a culture ofquality.
  • Acquirean understanding of Clinical Architectures Products.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree inComputerScienceInformation Technology or equivalent work experiencerequired.
  • 3yearsexperiencetesting applications for usability functionality and performancerequired.
  • CTFL or equivalentcertification preferred.
  • Experience in writing SQL statements and traversingdatabases preferred.
  • Codingexperience preferred.
  • Experience with APItesting preferred.
