We are a Berlin-based B2C fintech operating in stealth founded by two repeat founders (YC alum exit) with prior 10 year careers in investment banking and strategy consulting respectively. We recently raised investment to assemble a 30 people exceptionally strong core team.

The Opportunity

Were scaling from 5 to 30 people over the next 12 months and we need someone to own our talent acquisition while helping build the operational foundation that enables this growth.

This is a hands-on versatile role for someone who thrives in the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup. Your primary focus will be recruiting: sourcing screening and coordinating hiring across technical commercial and operational roles. But youll also be instrumental in building our people operations and jumping in wherever needed as we scale.

Tasks

What youll do

Talent Acquisition

  • Own full-cycle recruiting coordination across all departments (tech marketing sales operations)

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn job boards networks and creative outreach

  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess fit motivation and alignment with our culture

  • Coordinate interview processes and ensure excellent candidate experience

  • Build our employer brand and talent pipeline for future hiring needs

  • Support hiring managers with market insights and recruiting best practices

People & Operations Support

  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires (contracts equipment first-week experience)
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Support office coordination and vendor management as needed
  • Help document and improve operational processes as we scale
  • Jump in on operational projects where extra hands are needed
  • Contribute to building our company culture and employee experience

Requirements

What you bring

  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting talent acquisition HR or people operations (startup experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on recruiting experience - you know how to source candidates write compelling outreach and assess fit
  • Startup mentality - comfortable with ambiguity changing priorities and wearing multiple hats
  • Organizational excellence - youre detail-oriented can manage multiple processes simultaneously and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Strong communication skills - you can engage candidates professionally and represent our company compellingly
  • Proactive and resourceful - you see what needs doing and figure out how to do it
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience recruiting for technical roles (developers engineers)
  • Knowledge of German employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience in fintech or regulated industries
