About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Specialist to step in immediately and keep critical IT contracting and sourcing work moving. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to manage IT contracts end-to-end navigate healthcare procurement and partner effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

This is not a learning role. Youll be expected to come in understand the environment quickly and execute with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead IT sourcing and contracting activities across this healthcare system from intake through execution and renewal
Manage and negotiate contracts for IT goods and services including SaaS and technology vendors
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal IT and business stakeholders on procurement strategy risk and compliance
Conduct financial and spend analysis to support sourcing decisions and maximize contract value
Run competitive solicitations (RFPs RFQs RFIs) and document sourcing decisions in compliance with public-sector requirements
Draft and review contract language to protect institutional interests and mitigate risk
Manage supplier relationships track performance and resolve vendor issues
Partner with internal teams to promote use of existing contracts and standardization where appropriate
Support process improvement initiatives within Strategic Sourcing as needed

Success Metrics

IT contracts executed accurately on time and in compliance with the healthcare system and state requirements
Minimal backlog and strong responsiveness to stakeholder requests
Clear defensible sourcing documentation and audit-ready files
Positive feedback from IT and business partners on communication and execution

Who You Are

Youve spent at least 3 years doing IT procurement or strategic sourcing in the healthcare industry
Youre comfortable negotiating IT and SaaS contracts and understand the risks that come with them
You can work independently prioritize effectively and keep work moving in a high-volume environment
You communicate clearly professionally and without drama-written and verbal
Youre analytical detail-oriented and strong in Excel and financial analysis
