Note: Interview Process: 2 rounds - 45-minute video interviews. First round with direct manager and Architect second round with Director. 3rd round possible if required for candidate consideration. Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm. OT possible. Some flexibility may be required due to work with global teams. Anticipated as 12-month assignment. Possibility of extension based on demand.** DOR/ITAR Required - This is an DOD/ITAR facility. Candidates must be compliant with ITAR requirements and be US citizens or nationals. Travel Requirement: Potential travel of up to 30% which may include international destinations. During critical projects may be higher. Top Required Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• 8 years of IT/networking experience with 2 3 years in a senior or technical leadership role
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking (LAN SD-WAN routing switching)
• Advanced proficiency with BGP OSPF and EVPN-VXLAN architectures
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista platforms
• Expertise designing and managing wireless networks
• Advanced network automation skills using Ansible Python Terraform and REST APIs
• Strong documentation standards compliance and governance experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proven ability to lead mentor and collaborate across global cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with MIST wireless solutions
• Cloud and hybrid networking experience (AWS Azure Google Cloud)
• Manufacturing or OT networking environment experience
• Financial and vendor management experience
• Arista certifications MIST qualifications or equivalent

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for network engineering initiatives
• Design implement and optimize advanced network architectures (SD-WAN EVPN-VXLAN routing switching)
• Configure troubleshoot and enhance BGP OSPF and enterprise switching environments
• Architect and manage wireless networks with focus on performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business objectives
• Create and maintain network documentation standards and SOPs
• Evaluate emerging technologies vendors and tools to drive innovation
• Provide operational and after-hours support through on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant expert-level certifications (CCIE JNCIE or equivalent) highly preferred
• Strong understanding of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends and certifications
