Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) NICU / ICU
Location: Denville NJ
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with NICU and ICU experience to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will have recent acute care in-hospital experience and demonstrate strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonatal and/or ICU patients
Monitor patient conditions assess vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
Collaborate effectively with physicians respiratory therapists and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure compliance with patient safety standards infection control practices and regulatory requirements
Support patients families through education communication and emotional support

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Active and unrestricted RN license (State of New Jersey or compact license)
Must have NICU experience (ICU RN background required)
Recent acute in-hospital nursing experience preferred

Certifications:

BLS (AHA) Required
NRP Required

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Strong critical thinking communication and organizational skills
Ability to function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
