This client will not consider local travelers (who reside within 50 miles of facility).

This is a small community hospital (it is not a pediatric intensive care unit). The census is 3. There is not a second nurse scheduled for the unit. The maximum number of patients is 3. There is backup from Family Birthplace staff and travelers have a security badge with a panic button to get immediate help. There are also respiratory and IV therapists that can cover the unit.
Our experienced Pediatric nurses understand the unique needs of children and adolescents and the importance of family involvement in their care. We provide rooming in for parents who wish to remain with their child during the hospital stay. To help make the visit more pleasant we have on hand a variety of in room games and videos as well as a play room for those with no contagious illness.
Non-billable orientation: 8hrs
OT and Holiday Multipliers: 1.25%

- 3 years current Peds experience required
- ADULT MS EXPERIENCE - Preferred (to Float)-Please note experience on profile.
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- Perm address must be included in profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
