Job Summary:
The Test Engineer role focuses on installing maintaining and repairing protection and control systems used to monitor protection systems in power substations. The engineer will apply electrical engineering principles and computer skills to ensure the proper functioning of these systems including microprocessor relays PLCs sensors pumps and motors.

Location:Montgomery Alabama United States
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and troubleshoot protection and control relaying and associated devices.
- Perform calibration of various types of protection and control relays and devices.
- Assist in creating and maintaining protection and control documentation.
- Assist assigned project lead with field assignments.
- Install program and maintain protection and control relays and devices.
- Participate in process hazard analyses.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and practices.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4-year BS Engineering Degree (Electrical Preferred).
- 0-3 years experience in Engineering or similar role.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience with AC and DC systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
