The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning directing and coordinating activities for technical and business projects ensuring goals are achieved within the defined timeframe and budget. This role involves developing and managing project plans identifying risks and leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion.

Responsibilities:
- Manage projects in accordance with corporate standards and procedures.
- Manage project scope schedule budget risk change controls and phase gating.
- Promote a culture of early risk mitigation and accountability.
- Develop project plans with milestones tasks and resource allocations.
- Manage the project team to ensure timely and within-budget completion of activities.
- Manage vendor activities to ensure alignment with the Statement of Work.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Monitor metrics to track team performance against schedule and budget.
- Communicate project status risks and issues to management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Create and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project Online.
- Utilize Microsoft Project Online and Power BI for project reporting.
- May advise lower-level employees.
- Engage with senior management and executives as needed.
- Lead and facilitate resolution of complex project issues.
- Lead and facilitate organizational change management.
- May oversee project assignments training and mentoring for other employees.
- May support onboarding activities for new Project Managers.
- May lead Project Management Office improvement initiatives.
- Forecast project resources required for successful planning and execution.
- Lead conversations with executives and project sponsors.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
- Minimum 6 years as a Project Manager on large-scale projects.
- Experience with project schedule creation and maintenance using Microsoft Project Online or Project Server.
- Experience with project reporting using Microsoft Project Online and Power BI.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Management Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
- Minimum 6 years as a Project Manager on large-scale projects.
- Experience with project schedule creation and maintenance using Microsoft Project Online or Project Server.
- Experience with project reporting using Microsoft Project Online and Power BI.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Management Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years in a program manager role.
- Task assignment and tracking using JIRA.
- Detailed understanding of the energy market and utility business.
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Management Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- PMP Project Management Professional certification.
- Minimum 2 years in a program manager role.
