Job Title: Mid-Level Cloud Software Engineer

Experience Level: 4 5 Years (Mid-Level)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help us build scale and maintain our cloud-native applications. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between application development and cloud infrastructure ensuring our services are highly available scalable and secure.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering and a deep understanding of container orchestration and cloud infrastructure management (specifically in AWS or Azure environments).

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Development & Deployment: Design develop and deploy scalable microservices and APIs using cloud-native patterns.
Container Orchestration: Manage and scale production workloads using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and maintain containerized environments with Docker.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Bicep.
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
Monitoring & Optimization: Implement observability (logging metrics tracing) and proactively monitor system performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers and security teams to implement Security by Design and cost-optimization strategies.

Technical Requirements

1. Cloud Platforms (Must have 4 years in at least one):

AWS: Deep experience with EC2 S3 Lambda IAM VPC and EKS.
Azure: Experience with Azure App Service Blob Storage Functions and AKS.

2. Containers & Orchestration:

Docker: Proficiency in creating Dockerfiles managing images and multi-stage builds.
Kubernetes: Hands-on experience managing clusters K8s manifests Helm charts and troubleshooting Pod issues.

3. Development & Scripting:

Strong proficiency in at least one backend language: Python Go Java or .
Experience with Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) for automation.

4. Infrastructure & DevOps:

Proven experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Jenkins.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS TCP/IP Load Balancers Firewalls)
