Key Account Manager - Oncology
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to cultivate and expand successful Key Account business within designated regions fostering strong collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Main Purpose of Job:
To create successful Key Account business (Reimbursed & Pvt) in the designated location through strong collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Key account management for designated areas/states/hospitals as defined by the business unit.
- Proactively evaluate tender opportunities and plan participation early.
- Regularly update the list of institutions throughout the assigned territory according to business priorities.
- Share monthly reports on progress of formulary inclusion and business progression with senior management.
- Pro-actively call for support in all designated key accounts through marketing activity inclusions medical team representation etc.
- Re-categorize accounts based on changes in business dynamics (internal/external).
- Early identification and communication of opportunities and risks to seniors.
- Ensure the Rx team is updated on inventory status and risk inventory for every account.
- Responsible for the follow-up of orders execution and requisite communication to all stakeholders from Rx team purchase supply chain etc.
- Regularly complete the tour itinerary for the month in advance with prior approval of the manager.
- Weekly reporting of accounts covered & stakeholders met to the manager.
- Responsible for coordinating yearly quotations collection of rate inquiry rate adjustments and to coordinate with the manager.
- Strictly adhere to guidelines and pricing circulars for negotiating wholesale quotations pricing contracts credit limits etc.
- Optimally utilize travel for business.
- Maintain all promotional material and stationery in excellent condition to ensure correct portrayal of the Company s image and reputation.
- Maintain regular and adequate communication with the manager and the Commercial Department on all matters pertaining to day-to-day working.
- Inform the Manager and the Commercial Department without delay and with the appropriate reason of any day or work period disrupted or lost.
- Plan and submit in advance on the appropriate form any request for leave of absence including holiday entitlement ensuring compliance with Company guidelines.
- Communication to Head Office should be in writing on the memo pad.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the regions/location wherein one is applying for.
- Experience in key account management will be a definite plus point.
- Prior experience in Oncology (including demand generation) will be preferred.
- Ensuring strong key stakeholder connection (Non-HCP and administration).
- Awareness of the formulary inclusion process for major accounts.
