The Opportunity

The Registered Nurse (RN) in alignment with the mission vision and strategic priorities of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and the Division of Student Affairs provides high-quality student-centered health care that support student well-being and success.

Reporting to the Director of Health Services the RN delivers a full range of clinical and outreach services including individual patient care prevention and health education programming requiring autonomous independent decision-making and strong organizational skills. The RN plays a critical role in fostering a safe healthy community while promoting a culture of care across campus.

This position contributes directly to student success and retention by addressing the physical health needs of a diverse student body including those pursuing academically rigorous and high-performing programs in aviation aerospace and STEM disciplines.

Health Services embraces a holistic philosophy that integrates safe high quality patient care and prevention education nutrition and clinical intervention. Please note: this position is a 9-month role active from approximately mid-August through mid-May.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or completion of 18 months after high school (Area of Concentration in Nursing)
  • Must have nursing license in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support
