Job Summary

Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with Top Secret security clearance to support Kadiak in Washington DC. This position is for a Future New Business offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Lead mentor and supervise a team of security professionals responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the RMF lifecycle for FBI IT and coordinate activities within the Prepare step ensuring roles responsibilities and risk management strategies are clearly defined and system categorization efforts to ensure all information systems are appropriately classified based on mission/business impact and regulatory the selection tailoring and documentation of security controls aligned with system categorizations Bureau risk appetite and compliance the implementation of technical operational and management controls throughout system and application lifecycles with a particular focus on quality and completeness of all comprehensive security control assessments are planned executed and documented to validate the effectiveness of implemented risk management documentation for system authorization and executive ongoing monitoring and continuous assessment activities collecting metrics to adjust security strategies and ensure sustained as a principal technical advisor on cybersecurity bringing subject-matter expertise to risk analysis incident response system remediation and audit support a culture of security awareness providing technical guidance and training to both team members and report and communicate status risks and improvement opportunities related to security engineering activities to leadership and up-to-date knowledge of RMF NIST guidance and industry best practices in support of continuous process Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Masters Degree or equivalent and three (3) years of relevant professional experience; or Bachelors Degree or equivalent and five (5) years of relevant professional experience;Preferred experience at Federal Bureau of InvestigationDemonstrated experience designing managing and/or implementing economic trade and/or investment assistance programs serving sub-Saharan Africa required. Experience encouraging innovation and/or private sector engagement in programming knowledge of security architecture design patterns and best practices in cloud environments0 years of experience collaborating with Software Developers System Designers Operators as well as industry to design security into products develop new standards and highlight requirement gaps to deliver systems into a long term strategically strong understanding of system security engineering in accordance with the process task and activity guidelines established in DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT)Clearance Requirement:Requires Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
