Job Description
This role willbe responsible forassistingwith and supervising all aspects of Omni Service Center (OSC) Human Resources to include culture communication training associaterelationsand associate engagement as well as liability prevention and legal compliance.
This position is based in Dallas TX. This is an in-office position at Omni Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office.
Responsibilities
- Provide counsel to the OSC associates in all areas of Omni policycultureand leadership
- Implement training and development programs successfully. Recommendnew programsbased on need.
- Conduct investigations andassistinmaking employment status decisions
- Respond to employment litigation from Federal and State offices
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues
- Ensures all Omni Benefits programs arecommunicatedand partnership is built with the benefits service manager
- Ensure on-boarding of new associates is implemented according to Omni standards
- Ensure employee terminations are implemented according to Omni standards
- Maintain legal compliance at all times.Ensure ASC team isup-to-datewith evolving legislation.
- Maintain all ASC Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure Associate Services meets the standards as evaluated by Audit Services
- Implement the associate feedback programs for the OSC. Implement the Associate Engagement survey andassistin creating substantial action plans that move the OSC forward.
- Ensure OSCcomplies withall training required by law
- Ensure the associate files aremaintainedin a neat and organized manner
- Assist OSC HRD with planningand executingexcitingfunand interesting associate events quarterly and for holidays
- Implement and promote Omnis recognition programs. Ensure Omni Service Champion is celebrated quarterly at OSC.
- Consistently works to support Omniculture bybeing an ambassador of Omni Culture and promoting it enthusiastically
- Work to resolve concerns for OSC associates
- Develop a consistent and lively associate communications network withinOSC via bulletin boards department communication boardspostersand flyers
- Responsible for clear andaccuratedocumentation of all associate issues ona timelybasis following counseling and disciplinary procedures
- Workwith OSC HRDto ensure associate relations expenses are in line with monthly budget
- Conductstay andexit interviewsas neededand ensurepaycheckdistribution is complete
- Responsible forrouting employeefilechangesas neededthrough UKG/Dayforce
- Schedule and conduct stay interviews with new hire associates within90 daysof employment to ensure associate engagement
- Create and lead monthly trainings and webinars as needed
