Steps away from the main public transit station What we offer:Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary bonus benefits and career advancement opportunities! *Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe OpportunityThe Renewals Analyst is responsible for the processing of Commercial Mortgage Renewals and Assumptions in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Renewals Analyst will be responsible for the overall integrity of our files and updates to our loan system. How you will contribute:Ensure maturing loans up for renewals and assumptions are processed in a timely manner in line with company policies and a complete review of renewal and assumption underwriting binder and commitment letter before submitting for credit with solicitors insurance consultants investors originators and all parties associated with each transaction to ensure all First National requirements are satisfied and our files are updated for accurately processing all loan details into mortgage system (including clear meaningful notes) as needed from various source documents including e-mails commitment letter CMHC special conditions underwriting binder legal documents compliance with policies & daily all files to ensure updated information are always available to provide proper coverage on each for saving all renewal and assumption documentation to our files and properly naming documents per our naming conventions for transfer to our commercial servicing with the maintenance of reports that are used by senior management investors and other reports generated from our loan system for loans in extension period to ensure PACs are setup accurately for monthly payment and M2M is processed to management on any changes in policy or procedure for updates to our Procedures Manual for the Renewals & Assumptions team. Provide back up in the absence of other team special projects as assigned by experience you need:Post-secondary education Working knowledge of Quebec commercial mortgage legal documentation is a definite assetTwo or more years experience in the mortgage/financial industryExperience working with the Optimus system a definite assetProficient in Microsoft Office applications specifically Word and ExcelGood understanding of mortgage security documentationPrior experience processing mortgage assumptions renewals and/or new loan transactions an assetUnderstanding of the AML and Down Payment Verification requirements an assetExperience working in a paperless office environmentStrong written communication skills in EnglishExtremely organized and detail orientedThis position requires linguistic fluency.
