Now we are looking for a Construction Manager in our office in Barcelona.
As an Engineer you will be responsible for executing all investment projects in accordance with the planning while delivering high quality projects. Therefore we are looking for a customer-oriented candidate with the ability to anticipate and define customer/project needs.
What is the role About
- Supervise and manage construction projects during the execution phase.
- Examine the project in depth to plan deliverables and estimate costs.
- Review the planning of all the different contractors and manage the complete and adapted planning of the site.
- Supervise all on-site and off-site work on the project ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and (sub)contractors.
- Monitor work progress on a daily basis .
- Ensure safe working conditions on site.
- prepare internal and external progress reports.
- Anticipate potential problems and resolve those that arise.
- Manage permits and licenses.
- Analyse manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with construction quality standards and the use of appropriate construction techniques.
Requirements
- BS or Masters degree in construction management architecture Civil or related field.
- Experience : minimum of 6 years in Construction Management projects.
- Knowledge of project management systems and tools (e.g. MS Office MS Project)
- Experience developing projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Mastery of MsOffice (Word Excel) experience with construction management software (MS Projects Primavera Auto-CAD Lets-Build/Aproplan...)
- Languages: Spanish and English
- Travel availability
- Driving license
