In your new role with GWAL you will work under the direct supervision of a Senior Engineer and be accountable to:

Liaising with client & other consultants to determine projects scope under supervision of senior Engineer/Designer.
Documenting and communicating projects scope to in-house design team members.
Coordinating electrical requirements with senior mechanical Engineer/Designer.
Coordinating with client architect interior designer and other consultants.
Respecting project schedule.
Ensuring plans and specifications conform to applicable codes good engineering practice and project scope.
Participating in maintaining firms quality standard.
Preparing drawings using office CAD system.
Managing/coordinating multiple projects.
Performing load calculations.
Preparing detailed design layout.
Reviewing project documentation.
Participating in design review meetings.
Construction administration and site review.
Obtaining stamp and signature from signing engineer.
Assisting senior to monitor and control in-house costs and compare to project budget.

What youll need to succeed

Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology or similar field.
At least 18 months of previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit in building services is required!
Valid PSPC Security Clearance or the ability to attain it.
Possession of a valid . or CET designation preferred.
Problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
Strong understanding of Acts Codes and Engineering Practices.
Well-developed understanding of theories and principles.
Proficient skills in Tools Methods Techniques and Practices of the industry.
