Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be working in the field of Avionics Box Design in the Robotics & Space Operations team

Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings and BOM for avionics chassis circuit card assemblies (CCA) printed circuit boards (PCB) and cable harness designs for space and terrestrial applications
- Prepare Cable Assembly drawings using NX or AutoCAD as per MDAs identified standards.
- Suggest new designs that meet the requirements and understand the clients requirements
- Design cable mechanisms for rotary interfaces
- Perform cable routing and 3D modelling
- Integrate the designs taken from electrical engineering materials thermal and structural analysis in 3D models
- Perform design related activities for avionics chassis designs with considerations for EMI/EMC thermal structural and mass and volume constraints
- Develop production assembly and parts list drawings
- Develop standard manuals processes and templates
- Contribute to building internal CAD library of products parts and extrusions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Aerospace Computer Electrical Mechanical or Systems Engineering
- Strong experience in preparing drawings cable assembly cable harness etc.
- Experience with any of AutoCAD Electrical NX/Teamcenter AutoCAD MS Visio Altium OrCAD etc.
