General Summary / 職務概要
This position leads performance marketing initiatives aimed at driving both retention of existing ACUVUE users and acquisition of new-to-ACUVUE users as part of the companys strategic shift toward critical business model innovation (mid-long term).
It involves analyzing optimizing and providing actionable insights for all initiatives and content across e-commerce platforms to maximize ROI and contribute to EC sales growth.
This role is responsible for executing all online marketing activities effectively improving cost-efficiency and aligning with the companys broader marketing strategies. It also focuses on delivering insights to maximize sales and ROI. ROI will be evaluated across platforms with the setting of appropriate KGI KPI and tracking indicators and an agile PDCA cycle will be implemented to foster continuous improvements. Results and insights will be shared with management and relevant stakeholders
Duties & Responsibilities / 職務および職責
- As a key senior member of EC LTs drives Japan Vision Cares mission to expand EC leadership and the penetration of ACUVUE digital experiences
- Leads performance marketing initiatives by forming alliances with 1st-3rd party data managing data through platforms & owned store such as Yahoo Rakuten Amazon and others. Focuses on both short-term NTS contribution and mid-long term brand value and LTV growth.
- Oversees 1st-3rd party data management and utilization across patient and consumer P2P networks to deliver end-to-end digital experiences and expand ACUVUE user data coverage.
- Leads efforts to analyze patient and consumer behavior/purchase data contents media plan gaining insights to understand their needs and wants in a data-driven manner with agility
- Collaborates proactively with other EC teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end digital experience and effective planning from a patient/consumer-centric perspective.
- Builds strong partnerships and demonstrate leadership in working closely with Brand Marketing Media team SAM & SFE Business Intelligence IT/Technology and other stakeholders.
- Clearly defines the roles of key stakeholders and respective teams across various channels contributing to the development of optimal TTL (through-the-line) channel strategies.
- Coordinate with digital agencies and platform partners as needed and conduct analyses in collaboration with market data sources such as GfK Nint etc.
- Development of future media platform strategy & data strategy incl. the new technology

Professional and Academic Experiences
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing e-commerce or connected commerce with strong expertise in data management skills in agency or company side.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a people manager leading and developing teams.
- Deep and comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystems and solutions within B2C or FMCG industries including their benefits and challenges. Familiarity with how these connect with consumer experiences to challenge the status quo or pursue ambitious goals is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in data-driven decision-making and optimization of marketing campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads Facebook Ads or DSPs.
- Strong skills in KPI setting tracking and results visualization

- Extensive knowledge of e-commerce and connected commerce data management and utilization digital analytics tools digital marketing and technology architecture implementation.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability to lead projects and deliver expected results by clearly understanding the companys vision goals and objectives while engaging team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record of making objective-led data-driven decisions with excellent performance.
- Adaptable and flexible to change with a willingness to learn and adopt new methods and ways of working.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks budgets and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Skilled in team building and leadership.
- Fluency in English including excellent written verbal communication and presentation skills (preferred)
