Lane Education Service District (ESD) exists to partnership with 16 school districts and in service to more than 52000 students across urban rural and coastal communities Lane ESD provides high-quality special education services instructional support and essential operational services. The agencys work is grounded in a commitment to strengthening districts so that every student particularly those with the greatest needs can belong thrive and succeed. Lane ESD also partners closely with Pre-K providers institutions of higher education and community agencies to align programs resources and improvement efforts with the priorities outlined in its Local Service Plan.
The Superintendent of Lane ESD serves as the agencys chief executive and educational leader responsible for advancing the mission of the organization while cultivating strong partnerships across the region. The Superintendent leads through collaboration and service recognizing that leadership in an ESD is fundamentally relational and grounded in trust.
The successful candidate will bring experience credibility and a collaborative leadership style with a demonstrated ability to work across organizations and systems to advance innovation implement initiatives with care and navigate the complex environment of regional educational service delivery. The Superintendent will be an effective communicator a thoughtful organizational leader and a visible state advocate for Lane ESDs partner districts and the students they serve.
