Job Summary

Position Description:

In the current time of digitalization and transformation as well as speeding up the processes across the Financial Services world it is crucial to ensure the correct behavior from End-to-End perspective. Together with your team you will play a key role to guarantee the proper quality of the developed and delivered solutions.

We at CGI are currently expanding our team and are looking for an E2E Test Manager for payments solutions and Financial Services applications for our clients. You would complement the team consisting of over 40 members strongly focused and specialized on all topics around payments and banking. Besides of sharing your already existing expertise on the topic across our teams you can further develop your existing knowledge on the topic of testing and test management supported by CGI. Our broad client and project portfolio will allow you to apply your knowledge in a targeted manner and take on responsibility from the first day. Your future duties and responsibilities:

As test manager you will support our clients with your knowledge and your skills in various projects such as launches and rollouts of new features with enhancements upgrades change requests and regulatory setups. Furthermore you will be shaping and expanding our Test Management offerings and develop our team. You will ensure those solutions meet the expected quality functionality and usability requirements. Starting with the testability analysis for software hardware and infrastructure you will:

be responsible for test project success

manage the test activities around the project including resource coordination and test assignment

support with creation of test plans / scenarios by selecting or designing new test cases

track the test progress and reported issues

document and present the test results vensure that the technical test environments are complete and ready for the testing

align with internal and external stakeholders on current and overall quality assurance status and share best practices with clients and internal CGI community.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You have an university degree in computer science or equivalent qualification with experience in testing or quality assurance ideally already in the payments area or in complex infrastructure such as highly available and scalable systems or addition to your technical know-how you convince people with your social competence. Also you

enjoy testing by yourself and performing test management tasks

can easily translate use cases into test cases

know how to manage functional and non-functional test campaigns

are experienced in End-to-End testing including design test cases from the End-User perspective

have worked with modern Tools (like JIRA Confluence HP-ALM ) and might have already experience with test automation

have proficient knowledge of German and English (both oral and written)

are a team player who can also work remotely with virtual teams and

are proactive have the necessary eye on detail and structure with accuracy and love to test or manage tests of new things and technologies.
