Job Summary
Elementary School Boys Basketball Coach
The Elementary School Boys Basketball Coach is responsible for teaching fundamental basketball skills while promoting teamwork sportsmanship discipline and character development. The coach will plan and lead age-appropriate practices prepare students for games and create a positive inclusive environment that supports skill growth and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching basic basketball fundamentals and rules
- Emphasizing teamwork effort and good sportsmanship
- Supervising students during practices and games
- Communicating expectations with players and families
- Supporting the schools mission and behavioral expectations
Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of basic basketball skills and game play
- Ability to motivate manage and positively engage students
