We are looking for a results-driven Solar Solutions Sales Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to design propose and sell solar energy solutions to residential commercial and/or industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar PV and energy solutions
- Engage with clients to understand their energy needs and provide technical advice
- Design and propose customised solar solutions including system sizing and performance estimates
- Prepare quotations proposals and technical documentation
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
- Work closely with engineering and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with solar technologies products and market trends
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems inverters batteries and grid-tied/off-grid solutions
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Valid drivers licence (site visits required)
