Join our team as a Global Vendor Planner !
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring seamless logistics and planning activities As our Global Vendor Planner youll be the key point of contact between cross-functional teams and stakeholders ensuring materials are scheduled evaluated and delivered accurately and on time. Your agility and ability to meet customer demand solve escalations achieve metrics and drive process improvements will be crucial in hitting inventory targets.
What Youll Do:
Supply Planning:
- Manage the weekly planning process for your supplier portfolio.
- Follow up on supplier deliveries (ASN short shipments over deliveries recovery plans).
- Oversee end-to-end supplier planning activities for the full planning horizon covering CTB.
- Support all plants with components planning and execution for assigned suppliers.
- Create COPQ and collaborate with the supply base to recover costs.
- Maintain planning parameters in line with global replenishment rules plant and inventory strategies.
- Drive continuous improvements in the planning process to meet inventory targets.
- Coordinate with the team to analyze RCCP short/mid-term on a monthly basis ensuring supplier capacity aligns with actual shipments.
- Support VE and RE initiatives PIPO transition and last-time buy projects with the Supply Base department.
- Support NPI projects by checking new parts schedules and pipelines weekly.
Supplier Crisis Management:
- Escalate supplier issues according to the escalation matrix prepare escalation files and follow action plans to resolve issues and minimize impact.
- Lead supplier crisis management within the SC including red alerts creation and follow-up.
- Work with plants to avoid premium freight costs.
- Visit suppliers monthly/quarterly or as part of a taskforce during supplier crises.
- Support/escalate supplier issue resolution.
Supplier Development:
- Support supplier logistic development in the region and negotiate/sign logistic protocols with suppliers.
- Drive actions to improve Supplier OTTR metrics (including OPD approvals/rejections) for your supplier portfolio.
- Support supplier SIOP implementation and deployment.
- Provide input for the supplier scorecard weekly updates and follow-up.
What We Need:
- Experience:minimum 2 years working experience in Supply Chain
- Education:Bachelors degree
- Language Skills:Advanced English proficiency.
- ERP Systems:Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
