DescriptionOptimal on behalf of an ultra-luxury hospitality destination is seeking an Operations Manager based in Mykonos.
Scope of Role
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational performance of hospitality assets ensuring efficiency compliance with group standards and delivery of high-quality guest experiences. The role involves close collaboration with senior management internal corporate functions and external partners with accountability for people management operational excellence and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations ensuring alignment with group policies service standards and KPIs.
- Lead develop and manage on-site teams including staffing scheduling training and performance management.
- Coordinate pre-opening opening and seasonal closing activities.
- Ensure effective coordination across reservations guest services maintenance and technical operations.
- Monitor health safety regulatory compliance and risk management procedures.
- Control operational costs support budgeting processes and prepare operational reports.
- Manage guest experience feedback and complaint resolution in line with brand standards.
- Collaborate with Finance HR IT Technical and Procurement teams as well as external suppliers.
- Identify operational improvements service enhancements and efficiency initiatives to support asset value creation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Tourism Business Administration or a related field.
- 67 years of leadership experience in ultra-luxury resort or private villas operations with exposure to personalized service standards.
- Strong leadership organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent command of Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Solid knowledge of PMS systems MS Office and operational reporting tools.
- High professional standards commercial mindset and focus on operational excellence.
